OLD McDONALD HAS THE CHARM

GET TO MEET HIM: Keith McDonaldONE of Ireland's top crooners Keith McDonald has a new evening of entertainment called I Just Haven't Met You Yet.

The show features Keith performing the songs of artists like Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Barry Manilow and Tony Bennett.

Keith recently made a huge impression when he appeared as a guest singer on Miriam O'Callaghan's TV show performing If I Never Sing Another Song; but he already has his own loyal following around the country.

A stalwart of the local entertainment scene, Keith will be known to many from his own TV series The Showband Show on TG4, bringing back all the greats from Brendan Bowyer to Eileen Reid and Sean Dunphy.

He has performed with the RTE Concert Orchestra on five occasions at the National Concert Hall, including a 30-strong tribute to Barry Manilow.

The Westmeath-born entertainer lives and breathes showbusiness and now wonder - his dad is trumpet player Frankie McDonald, who played on stage with the late Joe Dolan for four decades.

Keith lives a colourful life with regular tours of America and Europe and performances in Cape Town.

He has recently been confirmed to headline the St Patrick's Day celebrations in Oman (UAE) in March 2011.

If you're in Dublin, you can catch Keith's new show every Thursday night at Café en Seine.
